The Vanquisher Emblem is a buildable one with Spatula and Sparring Gloves, so the Augments won’t be game breaking. Like most traits, having a +1 can be very useful, but it is very meta dependent. In some cases, having the +1 can be game winning, but in some patches, the augments can be near useless. This comp is a carry over from the Bilgewater article, and is what I expect a 4 Vanquisher comp to look like. You have all of your Vanquishers either being useful carries (Nilah/Xayah), or useful trait/utility units (Ashe/Darius). Bruiser Rek’Sai –Since Ashe is a Vanquisher, you can also utilize Vanquisher Emblem on Rek’Sai in a vertical Bruiser comp. This comp already runs Sejuani, so splashing in Ashe for Freljord comes at virtually no cost. Conclusion

This second team comp looks to build more into the Ionia trait and have Vanquisher be a secondary focus. Azure and Swarm bring the Doctor to Atropos to sacrifice her to Time, but since the Flux failed to free Time, Time destroys them. Time lets the Doctor go but warns of her end before reunifying her. In the tunnels, Kate and Vinder maroon the Serpent on a small asteroid through a door. Vinder and Bel decide to travel with Karvanista. Dan invites Diane on a date, but Diane refuses. The Doctor invites Dan to join her and Yaz on their travels. She deposits her fob watch deep into the TARDIS interior.If you drop Taric, you can still fit the 6 Ionia/4 Vanquisher, but your frontline heavily suffers from doing so. How to Play Vanquisher

Nilah is one of two 4-cost carries in the Vanquisher trait. She is a medium range AD carry that’s similar to Gwen from Set 9, except she’s an AD carry instead of an AP one. Bel and Vinder finally get reunited, and that’s it. It’s not big and impactful and emotional, because no scene is allowed to run long enough to convey these elements. Along with The Grand Serpent, they could have been cut from Season 13. This would make room to actually develop Dan and Yaz. This is no slight on actors Thaddea Graham and Jacob Anderson. They play the couple beautifully, and are the only reason I felt any connection towards their fates. The duo seem to be there to act as the heart and soul of the season. However, with their reunion handled with such speed, they come across as unnecessary. Then there’s Kate Stewart, who quite literally did nothing but waste actor Jemma Redgrave’s time. Why include any of these characters if they aren’t going to have a significant impact on the story, or get meaningful character arcs? Editing & Pacing – Too much trimming Talking of Bel (Thaddea Graham) and Vinder (Jacob Anderson), did we really just watch six episodes of their quest to find each other to only see two scenes of them together, one of which was “By the way, we are having a baby?” and then that’s it? Surely not? But then last week I couldn’t believe they’d killed off Tecteun.
