Powerline connections utilize your home's electrical circuit to link Decos, bypassing even the thickest of walls and ceilings. Wi-Fi 6 connectivity also worked for the devices I own that support the standard, like my Galaxy S21. Increasing your network's range would require purchasing another two-pack or adding an extender/repeater that won't have all the features of the mesh units.

I'm not a fan of the Deco app, with its unorganized menus and constant advertising for TP-Link's HomeShield Pro subscription. All your connected devices are listed on the 'Overview' page, where you can set custom names/icons and view the current network traffic. Eliminate weak signal areas with a single Wi-Fi network that covers every corner of your home with seamless roaming, adaptive routing and self-healing.This is an excellent feature that I wish was on more routers, especially for family members that occasionally need tech assistance. In time, this Deco will more than likely come to other regions as TP-Link can get the software for different regions. I liked the fact that the Deco X68's are WiFi 6 / Tri-Band routers that use separate 5Ghz backhaul channels to link the 2 Deco units that avoids impacting any of your other devices using the 5Ghz band, thereby improving overall throughput (it works well in my setup).

This problem is hardly limited to the Deco X68, though — Google and Eero's mesh Wi-Fi systems don't have a web interface at all. Even if it has to be positioned somewhere you’d rather not have it, it won’t stick out like other routers.Deco X68 provides an extra 5 GHz band working exclusively as the strong backhaul between deco units. Anyway, long story short, our internet plan covers us up to around 400 mbps, but I am not getting that from the four Deco X50s.
